With seventeen years of experience as a social worker, crisis intervention therapist and divorce recovery expert, rest assured I have the skills to address your issue. I specialize in using a holistic approach. This means assessing the whole person that is you—physically, mentally and spiritually--along with any relevant mental illness diagnosis and significant trauma history.

NARRATIVE THERAPY
The words we tell ourselves and others are powerful. Narrative Therapy recognizes this and examines possibilities for redefining our lives and relationships.
SOLUTION FOCUSED THERAPY
Sometimes, it's less important to know the “why” behind the problem and talk about the “how” to spark change action. Solution focused therapy uses scaling questions and other nitty gritty techniques to focus on the solution, not the problem.
ADVANCED INTEGRATIVE THERAPY
AIT is an energy psychology approach that goes beyond talk therapy. AIT works with the body's chakra system to reduce or eradicate past traumatic experiences, negative beliefs, and unhelpful behavior patterns. See AITI - Advanced Integrative Therapy Institute for more details.
SPIRITUAL INTEGRATION IN THERAPY
For those following a spiritual/religious path, it can produce a more fruitful understanding of the most effective healing. Yet many spiritual seekers, myself included, have experienced mind-bending phenomena and other inexplicable changes along the rocky path to transcendence. Consider me a safe and sound partner in exploring how integrating spiritual work and practices/rituals may work for you.
Rates per session/Insurance
Sessions are $140 per session, for either individuals or couples. The first session is to be prepaid to reserve your slot. Longer sessions are available when clinically appropriate. A limited number of slots are available for sliding scale and low-income clients.
